China Buffet Chinese Restaurant: An Abundant Feast on I-90 in Fairmont, MN

Well why do i give them the 4 star of food. Well they are cooking kinda of slow. When we are walking back and forth but no we are still waiting for the food to come. Service the food need to been little bit faster. No empty tray on the top of the counter it was supposed to be right. My photos was shots soon I was walking into the restaurant and 10 minutes later everything was almost completed gone.

I recently dined at this China Buffet. It is easily accessible from I-90. The restaurant had a welcoming atmosphere with traditional Chinese decor. The dining area and buffet stations were impeccably clean. The buffet offered a wide variety of dishes, including classic favorites like General Tso’s chicken , black pepper chicken, noodles , fried rice and more. At $15 per person, the buffet offered great value for the quality and variety of food available.

We stopped here for dinner. The food was delicious and fresh. There are plenty food to choose from. Although $17 per person is a bit steep. The place is well decorated. We enjoyed the fountain in the restaurant. We didn’t get anyone to greet us, but overall we enjoyed it. We would recommend it.

Great food PERIOD! One of my favorites. People complaining about service or atmosphere... get over it... it's a buffet, you are part of the service and their service and atmosphere are just fine anyway. There's always plenty of food ready and hot! I've been going here for years.

Best buffet along I-90 anywhere west of Rochester in my opinion, through all of South Dakota. Good selection of meat and vegetarian items, some crab and cream cheese selections, and an decent dessert area including ice cream. Large amounts of seating. Reasonably clean. Staff may not be at the register and you may have to wait a minute. Best time to go to any Chinese buffet is at 11am-noon but I went at 1:15pm and everything was mostly fine. If you like Chinese buffets, pick this one if on I-90 on a longer trip unless you plan go detour to Minneapolis. This includes traveling through Wisconsin, as Mauston in WI is the closest decent one.

15 minutes after sitting down the employees began mopping the place with bleach water so strong it was hard to breathe and to ensure everyone left quickly they began clanging pots and pans so loudly it was impossible to enjoy my dinner. The food was delicious but an establishment should not charge full price for a 15 minute buffet. This is my first dining experience at this particular China buffet but just in case you were wondering, the one in Mankato treats their customers the same way. Extremely, extremely disappointed!
